BCIU Deaf &
Hard of Hearing Picnic
In my 5 years of attending, I have to say that the picnic this year was
by far the most fun for the children. I am sure that at first thought a
DJ at a picnic for the deaf and hard of hearing might sound a bit
strange but those kids had a BLAST! Okay, I have to admit, I too had
fun. I appreciate any chance to break out the moonwalk.
As for mother
nature, the kids had such a good time that the dampness and rain went
unnoticed. When we got back to class the little ones begged Jody to play
the videotape so they could relive the day and see their cool dance
moves caught on tape. Like always, the kids are already looking forward
to it again next year.
